Work up. Leave a rep in the tank.
Bar over mid-foot before you unrack. Classes 5:30, noon, and 6:00.
Functional fitness gyms
Send workouts, gym events, and the notes only members should see. Workouts and events become posts for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X, and Snapchat, and a public newsletter if you want one. Connect those accounts and we autopost, with review if you want it, or download a media pack and post it yourself. Internal announcements stay with members.
Founding gyms get 30% off the first 3 months. Plans from $149 CAD.

The job
The workout is still the piece that changes every day. So is the thing on the calendar: the throwdown, the seminar, the holiday hours. Most gyms publish a blurry whiteboard, mention the event the morning of, and paste one caption into five apps.
WODReel turns those public pieces into finished posts. Type-led cuts ship even when nobody filmed. After the profile exists, you connect the accounts and we post them, or you download the files and post them yourself. Internal announcements — a coach out, a billing note, a room change — never become a post. They go in a members-only newsletter edition, to that gym's members only.
Brand Voice
Onboarding starts with your website and the social accounts you already run. We read the language, the tone, and the style. Sharing those links is not the same as connecting an account to autopost, and it does not require a password.
Brand Kit
Onboarding also asks for the brand kit, so every post and every newsletter uses the gym's own marks.
We do not redraw a logo or swap in a similar typeface. If a file is missing, we ask for it.
Gym Media Library
Each gym gets a shared photo and video library. Owners, coaches, and front-desk staff all add files. WODReel uses what they drop to make posts and, on newsletter plans, the newsletter. A file is not usable until the person uploading it answers the prompts.
Public social can become a post and, on newsletter plans, a line in the public newsletter. Members-only stays in the members-only edition and is never posted. No consent confirmation, no file in a post.
How it works
01
Share your website and social accounts. We learn the language, tone, and style you already use. Keep that voice, or pick a suggested direction. Each one comes with sample posts. Change it anytime.
02
Primary, secondary, and tertiary logos, as transparent PNG or SVG, in light and dark versions. Add the brand colours and fonts. Posts and newsletters use that kit.
03
The membership page is required. A trial page and a booking page are optional. Tracked links on go.wodreel.com use those addresses.
04
Workouts and programming. Gym events: competitions, socials, seminars, open houses, holiday hours. Internal announcements, marked so they stay with members.
05
Connect Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X, and Snapchat and we autopost, with a review first if you want it. Or download a media pack — captions, images, and video, filed by platform and date — and post it yourself. Switch anytime.
06
Internal announcements go only in a members-only newsletter edition, sent to that gym's members. They are never posted, and never sent to anyone without a membership.
Sample cuts
A workout, a member highlight, an event, a coach tip, a public newsletter, a members-only note, and a media pack. The post wears that gym's brand. The note under it is ours.

Heat check · 8:00 cap
Then 15 and 9. Hold the pace you can repeat.
Eight minutes. No hiding on the rower. 🔥 Scale the load, not the effort. 6a / 12p / 5:15p / 6:30p.
The workout is the poster: big numbers, one stripe, an eight-minute cap. The caption stays short, names the scale, and stops at three hashtags. A competitive room reads that faster than a paragraph.

First strict pull-up.
Nora · Tuesday
Nora's first strict pull-up was on a Tuesday that was supposed to be skill work and became a small riot. Four months of ring rows, a band she hated, and a coach who stopped adding load until the chin cleared the bar.
She asked us to post it. No weight on the bar, no before-and-after. If you want your name in a Keel post, you say so that week. Classes for women at 6:15, 9:30, and 5:45.
The graphic is one line. The caption is the story, and Nora asked to be named. No load, no before-and-after, no hashtags. Length fits when the post is a person, not a session.

French is the first half of the poster and the first sentence of the caption. English follows in the same post. The time, and who can walk in, are both on the graphic.
Coach tip by Bench Note, Denver
Bench Note
Denver
If the bar drifts forward in the squat, "knees out" will not fix it. Set the bar over the mid-foot before you unrack. One cue. Then stand up.
Save this for the next heavy day. We will not add a second correction while you are under the bar.
One fault, one cue, set like a card from the coach's notebook. No emoji and no hashtags. The line under the card says to save it, and then it stops.

Subject The clock did not ask how you feel.
Preview Wednesday is 15 minutes: 10 deadlifts, 10 burpees, 10 calories. Scale the deadlift. Do not scale showing up. No emoji. We tried one in March. It looked like a typo.
The subject line is the joke. The preview gives the session and the scale in the same dry voice, including the refusal to use an emoji. It is their mail, not a feed post resized into a letter.

Noon is 12:10. The ramp is icy.
Pat asked us to say the ramp out loud so nobody discovers it by falling. Noon class starts when the last pair of shoes is inside.
A masters room gets a practical note, with a little teasing, not a senior hour. It is written as a letter to members. It is not posted, it is not in the public newsletter, and it is not sent to anyone without a membership.

Door sticks when it freezes. Class is still 6:00. Farmer carry is two grain buckets if the implements are in the truck. 🧤
The deliverable is the folder: a caption and a file per platform, named by date. The line is about the frozen door and the grain buckets. They post it themselves. The TikTok file is in the pack even if they never open the app.

Results
Every post carries a tracked link to your trial or membership page. Each month you get a one-page report: clicks, leads, and who actually joined.
We count people, not vanity metrics.
Those links live on go.wodreel.com. The link-in-bio page is yours to edit: add, reorder, schedule, and hide. It uses your Brand Kit. We recommend changes from the click data, and we do not apply them unless you approve them. The intro form is optional, and it is part of Pro. The consent box starts unticked.

We count people, not vanity metrics. The order is new members, then leads, then clicks.
Value estimate: 6 EXAMPLE members × $145 EXAMPLE a month average = $870 EXAMPLE a month, set next to the Social + Newsletter plan at $279 EXAMPLE a month. The average membership price is the gym's own number from onboarding. The plan price on the pricing page is the real rate. Inside this illustration it is marked EXAMPLE along with every other figure.
Next month, in plain language: member stories got 2× EXAMPLE the clicks of workout posts, so the next month schedules 2 EXAMPLE more of them. Lead names stay with that gym. They are not shared with another gym.

Guides
Practical notes for owners who still run their own social. Use them whether or not you hire us. The service sits on top of the same ideas.
A five-minute phone workflow for turning today's workout into a Reel: hook, setup, on-screen text, caption, and cover frame.
A daily posting system for gym Instagram: the WOD post, a seven-day rotation, and the 20-minute batch that replaces the whiteboard photo.
How often a gym should post on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X, Snapchat, and email — and how to turn one WOD into those cuts without looking lazy.
Questions
Three kinds of input. Workouts and programming: a daily WOD, a weekly plan, or a month, as the coach email, a spreadsheet, a PDF, or a photo of the board. Gym events: competitions, socials, seminars, open houses, and holiday hours. Internal announcements: anything only members should hear, such as a coach being out, a room change, or a billing note. Workouts and events become social posts and, on newsletter plans, the public newsletter. Internal announcements do not. Add a clip or a photo when you have one. If you don't, the public post still ships as a type-led cut in your gym's voice.
Label the note as internal when you send it. We do not make an Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X, or Snapchat post from it, and we do not put it in the public newsletter or in a social media pack. On Social + Newsletter and Pro it is written only for a members-only edition and sent only to people with a membership at that gym. It is not sent to guests, to another location's list, to the founding waitlist, or to WODReel's own Substack. Connecting an account does not publish it, and autopost does not override that. On the Social plan there is no member email, and the announcement is still never posted. If you are unsure whether a line is internal, we treat it as members-only until you say it is public.
Social covers Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X, and Snapchat, for workouts and events. Social + Newsletter adds two emails: a public edition of those workouts and events, and a members-only edition for internal announcements. Pro includes the same channels for more than one location, with each location's member list kept separate. Each public platform gets its own cut. A Reel, a Facebook post, a Snap, and a tweet are not the same paragraph resized.
This applies when you have connected the accounts. Review means a public post does not go live until you approve it. Autopost means we publish the workouts and events on the schedule you set. Review is optional, and you can turn it on for one platform and leave it off for another. Neither one publishes an internal announcement or files it into the public newsletter. If you are using media packs instead, nothing goes live until you post the files yourself.
No. If you want WODReel to autopost, you connect Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X, and Snapchat through each platform's own login. We never ask for the password, and we don't want it in an email or on a form. If you would rather not connect anything, download the media packs — captions, images, and video files, organized by platform and date — and post them yourself. Both options are on every plan. You can switch whenever you want.
No. Clicks are counted anonymously. Lead details are collected only with the person's consent and belong to your gym.
Only footage and photos you send, and only the way you tell us we can use them. We don't pull faces off your tagged photos, invent testimonials, or write a PR story a member didn't hit. If a post needs a person and you didn't send one, it ships as a type-led cut instead.
No. Instagram gets a cover and a caption that can breathe. TikTok gets a hook in the first line. Facebook gets the community note and the class times. X gets the workout or the event in the length X actually allows. Snapchat gets a short, vertical cut. The public newsletter gets the workouts and events. The members-only edition gets the internal announcements, and nothing from that edition is reused as a post.
Founding gyms get 30% off the monthly price for the first three months. Social is $104.30, Social + Newsletter is $195.30, and Pro is $314.30 CAD during that window. After three months the regular rate applies: $149, $279, or $449. Joining the list doesn't bill you. We'll email you before anything starts.
Yes, if you run classes from written programming: functional fitness gyms, boxes, strength and conditioning gyms, barbell clubs, and hybrid rooms. The public posts start from the session or the event you already wrote. If you publish neither, this is the wrong service.
Email team@wodreel.com. Ask us to remove you and we will. The waitlist is a request for a founding spot, not a contract. Billing terms will be in the agreement we send before you pay. The terms on this site are a draft for lawyer review.

Newsletter
A letter for owners, on Substack. Posting notes, platform changes, and the occasional teardown. It is not a gym's member newsletter, and a client's internal announcements never appear here.
